Of course! The government has classed online shopping and delivery as essential businesses to help sustain a level of normality, and to support everyone who’s currently self-isolating and social distancing. Just click here to browse our complete, up to date range of products.
At the moment we're unable to send parcels out as quickly as we normally would; we're really sorry for any inconvenience this causes. We're working hard alongside our delivery partners to fulfill orders as soon as we can, but for now we ask that you allow up to 14 days for your order to be delivered.
We've also taken the decision to suspend next day and nominated day services for the time being.
Hermes are taking steps to ensure there’s no risk to you or their couriers. You can request delivery to a safe place on your property, so that your parcel is delivered with zero person-to-person contact. Please see the Hermes website for instructions on how to do this after your order’s been placed.
If you haven't already, downloading the Hermes app will make things even easier for you - under 'My Places', you can set up a safe place for both deliveries and returns, take a picture of it for the courier's benefit, and mark it as a GPS location.
Don't worry if you're not able to do this though: if the courier does need to ring the doorbell, they won't ask you to sign their device – they'll do this for you, and take a picture of the parcel as proof of delivery.
This service is mostly running as normal; however a small number of ParcelShop locations are unavailable for delivery, as the store has closed due to the pandemic. If your chosen store becomes unavailable after you’ve ordered, your parcel will be returned and you’ll need to reorder to your home or another address.
If you’re ordering a large item that won’t be delivered by Hermes (furniture, TVs etc), a rep from Arrow XL will be in touch to arrange a time and date for delivery. They’ll also let you know of the precautions they’re taking to protect you and their driver team.
The drivers have been advised not to enter customers’ homes, so they’re no longer able to deliver your order to your room of choice. They will instead deliver the order to your doorstep. We’re really sorry for any problems this may cause, but it’s essential that we do all we can to avoid any possibility of infection.
